Woke up at 6am, to prepare ourselves for our First Overseas Family Outing to BATAM! (:

Although it's just Batam, everyone was sooooooo excited! (:

I slept at 1am, so I was still quite tired. My sis didn't sleep at al, so I bet she will knock out somewhere during the trip :P

We left house at 7am with My father, didi, 小姑, Damian, First Uncle and 大伯母. We headed down to Harbourfront Centre to meet up with the rest. There were 20 of us! Vivian Jie Jie, Ah Jie Gor Gor, 二姑, Uncle Patrick, ,Randi, Shandi, Ahcheng gor gor, Liqin Jie Jie, 姑姑, 大姑, 大姑丈, Huiqin and the 8 of us on the van (: WOOOHOOO!!! BIG GROUP! I LIKE! HAHAHAHAH! ALMOST HALF OF THE COACH IS OUR PEOPLE! MUAHAHAHAH! :P

We boarded the ferry around 9.10am and reached Batam at 10.15am SG time. But the queue there was super messy. You don't even see proper queuing but just people come out from different ways.. We also have no idea where to queue..and the best part was, clearing immigration was SUPPPPPPERRRRR SLOWWWWW!!! The whole itinerary was pushed back because of that :/

We had to wait for other tour group members to reach batam, before we can all leave. So we waited and waited and FINALLY, we took the coach and there we go! We really took HALF OF THE COACH with the number of people we had :P

The tour guide is a super funny guy with his accent and the way he speaks... I think all of us will always remember what he said. "HAIR HAIR RAIN" = 毛毛雨 and No FLOWER ON TYRE = 轮胎没有花纹. Hahahah! All direct translation one lorrrr!

First Stop that we went was the ASEAN largest temple and it was really very huge! Very beautiful! (: and guess what, JINTONG came down also! hahahahaha! The whole trip became super funny with him around!

Next station we went to was KueiLapis shop(: The tasting portion that they gave was super small! But yet, they earn a lot of business from our tour group (; we also each family bought one box home! hehehehehe!

Then IT WAS FINALLY LUNCH TIME!!! SOOOOOOO HUNGRY!!! :/
Their lunch was at a seafood restaurant, where it is not air-conditioned and they serve tables by tables, plates of seafood!! (: yesterday just went to 6th grandauntie there for seafood, today also the same thing :P Our family are born eating seafood like really.. hahahahaha!

After eating, we went to watch performance by the locals at the nearby hut. The performance was like a cultural show where they performers ATE GLASSES, ATE CHARCOAL BURNING ON FIRE, JUMP THROUGH FIRE RING, AND USING JUST THE MOUTH TO PEEL OPEN A COCONUT! After that, we had to give tips for their performance.

Next up, we went to a local tourist shop where they sell crackers, tibits and stuff like that..After buying the crackers, we went to the GO-KART arena! (: Randi and Ahcheng gor gor went to play the GO-KART while the rest of us, went to watch monkey performance! (: The monkey super cute! But very sad that it was being chained up to perform :/ Same thing, we have to give tips for the monkey performance.

Next up, while waiting for them to play the Go-Kart, the bus drove us to nearby area where there is a sample of the chinese ship from the show "郑和下西洋", so we stood there to take photos.
Next the bus again, drove us to nearby garden, where by it showcases all the mini built batam houses and we could take photos with the houses!(: hahahahaha! SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! ALL SO CUTEEEEE!(:

Alright, randi and ahcheng gor gor came back from Go-Kart and we move off to our next stop which is the oldest temple, 大伯公庙 to pray..







And then it's shopping time! We were brought to the Polo shop where the shirts there were cheaper than SG price and they were branded like Burberry, POLO, etc. Vivian Jiejie bought a polo tee for herself, randi and shandi both bought polo tee too. then 大伯母 bought hardrock cafe t-shirt for herself.








Money Money Money!

Last station, SHOPPING MALL!! We were left with only an hour to shop and just by buying my mum's bag, we used up 30 mins of our shopping time!! So we chiong for our shopping, me meimei and ahgal bought a top and randi bought a Hermes wallet (: DONE WITH OUR DAY!!!

Return to Ferry terminal, bid goodbye to our driver and guide and SINGAPORE HERE WE COME!! (: This time round, the ferry quite scary.. Up and Down Up and Down. Got once, the ferry machiam like rollar coaster, went up and came down immediately, and those who were sleeping, all woke up with heart attacks! hahahahaha!

When we reached SG, it was 9 plus and all of us were STARVING!!! LIKE HUNGRY GHOSTSSSSSSS!

Then we meet up at my house downstairs kopitiam for dinner.. Whatever we order, JUST EAT!!! hahahahah!

Everyone's tired alreadyyyyy...Have a goodnight rest!! AND BATAM TRIP WAS AWESOMEEEEE!(:
